The Seven Sisters (Main Star myth)

The Pleiades also known as the seven sisters is near the earth between 434 and 466 light years away.

The names of the seven sisters are

Maia

Alcyone

Asterope

Celaeno

Taygete

Electra

Merope

Their parents were Atlas and Pleione.

The seven sisters were also known as the  water girls or the ice maidens as they loved water including the sea, river, rain, hail, snow, ice or frost. 

My safety poster(main star)

I made a poster on Road safety it says about bike/wheel safety, car safety and road safety.

New chores!! (Main star)

I asked my Mum and Dad what chores I can be doing around the house. They said take the recycling out every morning and do the tea dishes every night.

I even had to do the recycling in the rain.

Making stilts (main star)

I'm On the weekend Dad helped me to make stilts for my prep items.

The things we used were:

Formula tins (recycled from Kenzie)

Rope (dads van)

Drill (dads van)

If we were to make this for prep we would only need to by the rope and borrow the drill from Graeme. 

The formula tins could be recycled from school families.

See the photos below for making them. (At the end, Dad had a go on the stilts and tried to jump with them and they crushed. Was very funny but I wasn't happy.)

Making a blanket (main star)

For my birthday this year my Nana Vicki brought me a blanket in a box. I have been sitting down at night time and after school to make it. 

To make the blanket I had to tie each piece of material together to form a knot. 

I had to tie 6 pieces across then stop and start again tieing another 6 across. 

Then I had to tie them all together to do 8 down. 

It was very tricky, Mum had to sometimes help me.

This is the book of scarlet and Ivy it is the story how Ivy became scarlet and at the end Ivy found scarlet.

Hollie Chips

This book is about a girl called Hollie she is a very nice girl and her mother and about not so nice boys. there is something weird  about Hollie  beause one eye is blue and the other is green.

Dog on the beach

I ran across the beach with my dog. We saw a penguin laying an egg. I could smell the salty water.

As i walked across.  I could feel sand rubbing against my shoes. I could see a boat from the other side of the ocean it was like a black spot. I love the seen.
