Numeracy

Here is what I have been learning for numeracy We had to make a 

screencastify of doubles and halfs it was easy and fun we are learning doubles and halfs.

This is the Rachel Stokes found in Buller River .

Police found a woman’s body in the middle of Buller river in Murchison her name was Rachel Stokes, she was 46 years old.

She had crashed her car near Kawatiri Junction on Friday.

This article was interesting because,it good to see the police doing their job but it was sad to hear a women died.

Bee sting leads to fatal milk tanker crash. (article 2)

A milk tanker driver has has been injured yesterday when he crashed, he was stung by a bee his name was Eric Heath.

This article was interesting because it told you lots and what happened.

The car ploughed into house about 6:30am today.

Maths 

Here is a image of work I did with Jessica we were using rods to solve adding and subtract two numbers.

Here is what we had been learning for the last week we had to use the rods to solve adding and subtract.        Next week I will achieve my work buy getting more work done.

Here is banqer for this week next week I hope to spend my money on the couch. The couch cost $300 for the week.

My Barn 

Here is the barn we had to make for school. I made mine on my Chromebook.I  had to make barn for  Zuckerman's barn

If I was the Mayor of Greymouth...

If I was the Mayor of Greymouth for a day I would want to change:

1. The creek at Dixon Park.
I believe a fence needs to go beside the creek because if a child was running by the creek or down the hill, they could fall into the creek and hurt themselves or they could drown as it only takes 2cm's of water to drown in. 

2. People speeding down our street.
I believe that I could put a speed bump by the Blaketown school crossing to stop people speeding by making them slow down for the speed bump.

3. Stop people littering in our community.
I believe our community needs more rubbish bins around our town to help to stop people from throwing their rubbish on the streets.
