                         Chapter Chat

 This is my Chapter chat for this week we had to write up words to go to the toilet. Here are so words that I wrote!!  Going to make water, Going to do Number 3 and others.

Numeracy 

This week for numeracy I have been using doubles in my work I had to make a screenscastify of my work. I make two videos.

My Family Meal

                    MY FAMILY MEAL....

On Sunday night I cooked tea for me, Kenzie, Nana Marie and Grandad Denys.

My recipes are:

Easy Ham and Salsa Burritos.

Chilli, Corn ans Avocado Salsa.

Ingredients:

• 2 tomatoes, chopped
• 2 spring onions, chopped
• 1 cup fresh whole kernel corn, cooked
• 1 small avocado, peeled and diced
• 1 handful fresh spinach leaves, chopped
• juice of half a lemon
• 1/2 cup watties tomato sauce
• 1/2 tsp chopped chilli
• Ham of the bone
• 8 large tortillas
• Ice berg lettuce, finely sliced.
• 1 cup of sour cream

Method:

1. To make chilli, corn and avocado salsa mix together chopped tomatoes, spring onions, whole kernel corn, avocado, lemon juice, watties tomato sauce and chopped chilli.

2. Chop the ham up in diced pieces.

3. Heat the tortillas according to instructions on the pack.

4. Fill the tortillas with lettuce, ham and chilli, corn and avocado salsa. Top filling with a little sour cream and roll up.

East Fruit Salad.

Ingredients:

• half a banana
• 1 pear
• half an apple
• 1 kiwifruit
• 1 slice of watermelon
• 1 slice of pineapple

Method:

1. Peel the kiwifruit, pear, apple, banana, watermelon and pineapple. 

2. cut all the above ingredients into cubes, then mix in a bowl altogether. 

(we served this with ice-cream and a flake)

Family responses:

Grandad Denys says the burritos were really yummy and he really enjoyed the pudding too.

Nana Marie says the burritos were yummy but a bit sour for her, she didn't have any pudding.

Kenzie loved the pudding!!

Literacy 

This week for Literacy. Corianna and I made a Mummies summary I did wrapping and Corianna did Embalming here is our DLO hope you like it. 





Reading 

This week for reading we had to a notes about the desk  then we had to put it into a slide .

T1 W11 2017 End of term Reflection

End of Term Reflection 
This week is the last week of the term. This term I have been having lots of fun I term have been working hard because I have a Restricted license which means that I can work on the landing or in the class room I was very proud of myself to get a restricted license.

Numeracy 

I am very proud of my numeracy I think the I am close to achieving my goal. My goal was to be able to read fractions a be able to say them. 

Reading 

I am very proud of my reading  I have achieved my reading goal it was to sound out words I do not know. 

Writing     

I am very proud of my writing goal I am till working on it. I have achieved this goal my goal was to make my writing have more detail.

Week1 Term 2 2017 Reflection

Kia ora Welcome back to Term 2 I hope you Enjoy my Week 1 Reflection! 

I am very Proud of my self because I have got my full license which means that I can work anywhere in the school a license is when you can be trusted to work in the school.   

Literacy 

Here is my word work for this I have worked very hard to do these rainbow words I think they look nice. 

Writing 
I work hard this week to do my Anzac Poem I think it looks great so we had to make the shape of a Diamond The type of poem we had to right was a diamante poem we had to use types of Anzac words. here is the image.
